New Documentation Pages

In an industry where timely and accurate data is crucial, CCData is committed to providing the most comprehensive and user-friendly tools available.

Our long serving Min API documentation pages will be retired in the next few months, replaced fully by our new Developers documentation pages. This new documentation site will cover both existing Min API documentation and our new Data API suite of endpoints.

Going forward, Data-API is now our default API offering, with new data sets and features only being made available through this API.

Our existing Min API https://min-api.cryptocompare.com domain will be supported for the foreseeable future, however it will no longer receive updates in terms of new datasets or features.

We are pleased to announce the latest enhancements to our API documentation pages, designed to offer greater interactivity and access to a broader range of datasets. Here’s a detailed look at the new features and how they can benefit your work.

Key Features

Interactive REST API with Parameter Builder

Our REST API now features an interactive parameter builder, allowing users to customise their queries with ease. This functionality ensures you receive real-time data tailored to your specific requirements, significantly streamlining the data retrieval process. Additionally for our new Data API based endpoints, CSV download support has been greatly improved.

Interactive Websocket Client

We have updated our interactive Websocket client that delivers live data feeds directly to your applications. This feature ensures you remain informed with the latest market movements and blockchain activities without delay, providing a competitive edge.

Searchable Endpoints with Detailed Definitions

Navigating through our extensive API has never been more straightforward. The endpoints are now searchable, accompanied by comprehensive schema, response, and field definitions. This detailed documentation enables you to fully understand the data you are working with and how to utilise it effectively.

Code Examples for Each Endpoint

To facilitate seamless integration, we now provide code examples for each endpoint. These examples are designed to assist you in getting started swiftly, irrespective of whether you are a novice or an experienced developer.

API Key Management and Usage Monitoring

Our new interface allows for effortless management of API keys and monitoring of call usage. This feature is particularly beneficial for managing resources and ensuring compliance with usage limits.
