Trade Data Product Updates

New Exchange Integrations

We’ve added support for new exchanges to expand trade data coverage:

  • Bitopro - Spot Exchange Integration: Fully integrated Bitopro's spot exchange.
  • Cryptology - Spot Exchange Integration: Added support for Cryptology's spot market.

Integration Improvements

Enhancements to existing integrations to ensure better performance and expanded features:

  • Korbit - WebSocket Integration: Introduced real-time WebSocket support for Korbit for improved data accuracy and reduced latency.
  • Lmax - Migration to New FIX Feed: Updated to a new FIX feed, enabling trade ID support on real time trade data.

Wider System Enhancements

  • Historical Data Processing Optimisation: Improved speed and efficiency for regenerating historical OHLCV data in situations where old trades are backfilled.
  • ‘State Sync’ Service Improvements: Reduced the load put on the system in periods of high trading volumes, ensuring reliability no matter the market activity.

Orderbook Data Product Updates

Exchange Integration Improvements:

  • Enhanced Bullish API and Rate Limiting:
    Updated Bullish integration to use a more stable API and implemented measures to handle rate limits better, ensuring improved reliability and consistent data access. 
  • Improved Orderbook Parsing:
    Updated parsing logic in the minute-orderbook system to reduce errors and improve efficiency. 
  • Bitfinex WebSocket Reconnection Fixes:
    Resolved recurring WebSocket reconnection issues for Bitfinex, improving data flow stability.
  • Crypto.com Disconnection Resolution:
    Fixed disconnection problems with Crypto.com, enhancing connectivity and user experience. 

Orderbook Replay Initial Release:

  • The Order Book Replay product allows users to replay historical Level 2 market data from supported exchanges in a standardised, accessible format. After initial testing and release, further optimisations included:
    • Improved OpenAPI Specifications:
      Enhanced the OpenAPI specifications to streamline the orderbook replay functionality. 
    • Expanded Replay Timeframe Capability:
      Added the ability to provide up to one month of historical L2 updates within a single replay session.
    • Heartbeat Handling:
      Optimized heartbeat handling to ensure the reliability and performance of orderbook replay operations. 

Asset Metadata Product Updates

Separation of Assets by Issuer and Versions:

  • Each version of a token now has its own dedicated page.
    • XPTO (ERC-20): The original version issued by the project.
    • Binance-Peg XPTO (BPXPTO): A bridge-created version on Binance Smart Chain.
  • Tokens migrating to new contracts, whether on the same or a different blockchain, are also divided. For instance:
    • XPTOv1: The initial version.
    • XPTO: The upgraded version after migration.
  • Key Data Changes:
    • Tokens are now separated into individual versions.
    • Introduced the Asset Issuer field to indicate the issuing entity for each version.
    • Removed the "bridge operator" field from supported platforms.
    • Each token version includes a public notice explaining its separation and origins.

Enhanced Asset Industries Field:

  • Deprecated generic and outdated fields like "only DeFi" or "only NFT."
  • Introduced a detailed set of industry categories, including:
    • Payment: Cryptocurrencies designed as a medium of exchange (e.g., Bitcoin).
    • Platform: Blockchains enabling decentralised application development (e.g., Ethereum).
    • Stablecoin: Tokens pegged to a fiat currency or commodity (e.g., USDT).
    • Gaming: Assets supporting blockchain-based games (e.g., Axie Infinity).

Corporate Event Section on Asset Pages

Each asset page now features a section for listing project-related events and corporate actions including:

  • TICKER-CHANGE
  • MERGER

Index Product Updates

Start Calculation and Dissemination of the HKEX Indices: Initiated the calculation and dissemination of the HKEX Virtual Digital Asset Index Series on CCData’s API and into Bloomberg and Refinitiv. 

  • HKEX Bitcoin Reference Index (HKEXBTC)
  • HKEX Bitcoin Reference Rate  (HKEXBRR)
  • HKEX Ether Reference Index  (HKEXETH)
  • HKEX Ether Reference Rate  (HKEXERR)

Added new CCIX Price Tickers to Bloomberg:

  • CCAPT (APT-USD)
  • CCONDO (ONDO-USD)
  • CCPYTH (PYTH-USD)
  • CCRNDR (RENDER-USD)
  • CCNEAR (NEAR-USD)

Rolled out the new CCData Blended Prices (CCIXBE): CCIXBE provides an alternative to investors seeking a benchmark that combines stablecoins and fiat currencies into a consolidated USD reference price.
The proprietary methodology is calculated as a 24-hour volume-weighted average price using a selection of exchanges and an outlier detection methodology. Final pricing is all converted to USD.

Regenerate Missing Cadli Historical Data: Reconstructed historical data for Cadli, addressing gaps and ensuring database completeness. 

Cadli Volumes QA: Quality assurance for Cadli volume reporting completed, enhancing data integrity for CADLI pairs on CCData API
